Lots of great info and lots of great food!

The Partnership Meeting was held at the Keystone Job Corps Center this morning with plenty of terrific information being shared – from legislative to recipes.

Jack Hallick and David Schultz, Partnership co-chairs welcomed everyone, gave a brief overview of the accomplishments of the group thus far and then Dave disappeared into the kitchen to oversee the preparation of lunch – pierogies from Ateeco, Inc., Mrs. T’s prepared by the award winning culinary students of the Job Corp Center.

Kelly O’Donnell, Legislative Director with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture brought everyone up to date on a a pending bill that will have impact for many in our industry.  Mike Carroll is the sponsor of the bill and Kelly hopes it will pass before the end of the year (It’s been four years in the making.)  We’ll post a link to the House Bill shortly.

Thank you to the staff and students at the Keystone Job Corps Center for hosting us and serving up a delicious lunch!
